Learning Moves Online During Industrial Action

In light of the announcement by the University and College Union (UCU) that their members will be striking on selected days, SERC has moved all teaching online 18-23 September, to ensure that learners are not disadvantaged by this action. Students can expect that teaching will continue during this period.   

All students should join their class as timetabled, online from home. 

All Apprentices should attend their workplace and not attend the College. Your employer will be informed of this. 

If you are in receipt of funding such as EMA, your attendance will be verified through your joining online classes and your interaction with the College apps. 

College campuses will be open and LRCs available for those who wish study on campus. 

Please note that the Freshers’ Fairs scheduled for 19 and 20 September in Downpatrick and Lisburn have been cancelled.
