Keeping Warm and Well at SERC Student Support Scheme

We are delighted to launch a new student support scheme at SERC. This scheme will support students by providing free self-care packs and winter clothing bundles. We would appreciate your support in making students aware of the scheme and how to access support on campus.

Each pack contains.

Self Care Packs

• Shower gel
• Shampoo
• Hairbrush
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Razors
• Shaving Gel
• Washing powder

Winter Clothing bundle

• Regatta Coat
• Hat
• Gloves
• 3-Snood  

Students can avail of this support through:

1-Self Referral

Students can call to the SU Office on campus and speak to a member of the team to pick up a free pack. Dates and times for SU Drop in on each campus below.

Lisburn Campus – SU Office A Floor {opposite Sports Hall}

• Tuesday 21st Feb 2pm - 5pm
• Wednesday 22nd Feb 11am - 1pm
• Thursday 23rd Feb 11am - 1pm
• Friday 24th Feb 9am - 3pm
• Monday 27th Feb 11am - 1pm
• Tuesday 28th Feb 2pm - 5pm
• Wednesday 1st March 2pm - 5pm
• Thursday 2nd March 11am - 1pm
• Friday 3rd March 9am - 3pm

Bangor Campus – A27 Bangor

Each Tuesday 10:00-12:00 and Thursday from 11:00-12:00

Downpatrick Newcastle and Newtownards Campuses:

• Monday - Ards, 9-3, Room A2
• Tuesday- Downpatrick, 10-1, Room B5-12
• Wednesday- Downpatrick, 10-1, Room B5-12
• Friday - Newcastle, 9-1, Staff study room

2- Staff Referral

If you are aware of a student in need, you can refer students to the SU drop in or alternatively can collect items on student’s behalf by contacting the student engagement team.
