Taking a stroll through Botanic Gardens this month? You can also enjoy stunning views of the park and the city from the Panoramic Viewing Wheel. The family-friendly attraction is being operated by G Force Amusements. Strict COVID-19 (coronavirus) safety measures are in place. The wheel is located in the lawn area next to to the Tropical Ravine. Begin your day on the water with this guided paddleboarding experience, take in the water’s edge views and hear local tales. Then as you rest on your paddleboard, tuck into a gourmet picnic from a local deli as you take in the beautiful surroundings.£50 per person. Living the Green Way 2020

A weeklong programme of events and activities called ‘Living the Green Way’ will take place on Connswater Community Greenway, encouraging people to live ‘greener and healthier lifestyles’ from 12 to 19 September. The programme of activities will take place online and offline. The offline events will take place in different venues along the Connswater Community Greenway with a highlight being an Urban Market on 12 September at CS Lewis Square. Like many others it has been an unprecedented year for the Connswater Community Greenway, and while the spring/summer season would normally be buzzing with events and activities the team behind the Greenway are pleased that it has remained open and accessible during this time for all to enjoy and explore.
