ArtisAnn Gallery welcomes one of Northern Ireland’s most accomplished painters and print makers for a solo exhibition this October. The new work for this exhibition comes from moments that have caught the artists eye in the spring and summer of 2020. The show features a combination of paintings, silkscreen prints and drawing. All the images are a fusion of lived experience, memory and imagination. All artworks are available to buy, and can be delivered free of charge. The exhibition runs at the ArtisAnn Gallery, 70 Bloomfield Avenue, Belfast from Tuesday 2 September to Saturday 31 October 2020. All welcome. Kim Vaughanand Philip Higham Online Cello Performance

Kim Vaughan enjoys a varied musical career as a chamber musician and artistic director. She is a founder member of the Benyounes Quartet, who were recipients of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s prestigious Isserlis scholarship and multiple prize winners at international competitions, and is also artistic director of the Quercus Ensemble. This special recital features Kim as a soloist and duo musician. It was conceived during lockdown and recorded at St Mary’s School, a specialist music school in Edinburgh where Kim also teaches. She is joined by her partner, Philip Higham, principal cellist of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and a notable soloist in his own right. You will be sent a direct link the day of the performance (30 mins before the show start time). The chilling expert-led two-hour paranormal Investigation gives visitors the opportunity to interact with the spirits as they get hands on with authentic experiments using paranormal investigating equipment. The serious paranormal investigation will visit various hotspots of the jail where paranormal activity has been reported and sighted. Limited spaces available due to social distancing guidelines, pre-booking is essential, time slots will strictly be adhered to. Pickie Pumpkin Patch

Visit Pickie Funpark this Halloween to explore the pumpkin patch and jump onboard the Pickie Puffer Ghost Train with zombie conductor. After a ghostly train ride, make your way to our Halloween pumpkin patch. Once you have found your perfect pumpkin, you can take it to the designated carving area where staff will be there to help you create your masterpiece. You can select your Spooktacular design and scoop out the contents leaving it to them to carve it for you. Once complete, take home your pumpkin and put it on display to ward off the evil Halloween spirits! Each ticket includes 1 x pumpkin and an all-day wristband for the Pickie Funpark attractions. Online booking essential.
