Between now and the end of March, a free lunch as well as some other resources (more details to follow), will be available for all SERC students to help deal with the impacts of the increasing costs of living.   This Student Welfare Initiative is being funded by the Department for Economy.

To avail of the services, students are asked to complete a short online training module - shown as a task on your SERC 4 U student portal.   This is simply to remind you of the different welfare and support services that are available at SERC, and to help us evidence student engagement in this scheme.

So when can I get my free lunch and where?
From 12.00 to 1.30 pm on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you can come along and get a hot meal (including a vegetarian option) with a drink and biscuit free of charge at the College Kitchens in Downpatrick, Newtownards, Bangor and Lisburn Campuses (both in Zest and the Linen Room at Lisburn Campus).

You can come along for one day or for all three days, but you can only get a meal once each day.  You don’t have to go through the till unless you are buying something else.

We envisage there may be some high demand for the service, so please be patient with our catering team.

Enjoy your free lunch!
