Another batch of masks made courtesy of SERC staff members Wendy Greenhill, General Study Support Worker, and Elaine McKeown, International Development Manager. Wendy and Elaine have made and delivered face masks to Parkside Private Nursing Home in Lisburn as well as two South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust mental health homes, Slievegranne in Downpatrick and Ballymacoss, in Lisburn.
SERC has a network of stitchers who all work together virtually to meet the need for PPE in our local communities and beyond. This request for masks was received by SERC through the ‘Covid-19 Cloth Face Masks for All Ireland’ Facebook group. We are delighted to be able to work with others towards the same goal of making PPE in this time of desperate need.
