The Education Authority Youth Service have launched a programme named "Eat Well Live Well", a safety net for the provision of free school meals to children and young people during Covid-19. Anyone aged 4-25 years can access a five day food box providing breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday.
You can apply to register for a food box, by filling out the online form. The food boxes will be located at over 40 EA Youth Centres across Northern Ireland, the hope is to link those that require help with a youth worker that they know or that works nearby in order to support their needs.
If you live near one of the Eat Well Live Well centres you can visit or contact to request a food box. If nearby you can avail of “grab & go” from the centre. If you can’t make it to a centre they will arrange for the food box to be delivered. You can find a full list of Eat Well Live Well Centres here.
