Christmas may be over but Panto is still in Season

Oh yes it is! If you missed our student production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears at SERC’s SPACE Theatre in Bangor in December, you will be pleased to hear that you can catch that very same Goldilocks as she takes on the Three Bears in a special recording now available on SERC’s YouTube channel.

The panto, a collaboration between HND Performing Arts, Level 3 Dance and Level 3 and HND Music students, was one of the most entertaining pantos of the season.  (Pictured above) Down in these woods, you will find a rather feisty Goldilocks (Katie Kelly) with Snot (Jacob Eyre), Dame Gertie Dollop (Dylan Craig), and Silly Billy (Nathan Irvine).

Performing Arts Lecturer Steven Lee said, “Featuring the best of local emerging talent in all aspects of music and performance, our production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears was an extravaganza of slapstick, jokes galore and full-on entertainment for all the family – not to be missed!”

So, in preparation for Blue Monday (apparently, Monday 20th January), we invite you to beat those winter blues and get down to the woods with Goldilocks for a few laughs.   Make a plan to watch it with your family or friends or your little ones for some extra entertainment.
