On this day last year, the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship team opened a brand-new team site, to ensure that the Entrepreneurs Club was Online and Open for Business, and that the support provided by the team would be ongoing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
To celebrate the first anniversary of the Virtual Entrepreneurs Club let's look back on how the year has gone.
The move online has been a great success for the Entrepreneurs Club, with close to 300 members joining the team site to avail of support, workshops, and resources, and to be part of a community of enterprising and entrepreneurial minded people.
The club have been able to create, share and store many resources, including workshops with guest entrepreneurs, original videos which have been uploaded to Microsoft Stream, links to external events, and multiple reading materials and learning resources. All of which can be easily found in one place, the Virtual Entrepreneurs Club team site.
The Entrepreneurs Club have been able to work online with a vast array of local entrepreneurs, adding them to the ever-growing network of support from external stakeholders. From this the team have facilitated 9 online workshops and interviews featuring local industry experts and entrepreneurs as well as written profiles and videos of those in business sharing their knowledge and experience of entrepreneurialism.
We can’t wait to see what the next year brings for the Entrepreneurs Club and would love for you to be a part of it!
If you have thought about starting your own business, or have already taken the plunge, sign up today to avail of all the resources, and one to one mentoring, readily available from the Virtual Entrepreneurs Club team site.
