BuzzStart Academy: Digital Skills Training- Bangor

SERC are hosting Free Digital Skills training from BuzzStart Academy in partnership with Facebook at the College’s Bangor Campus on the 27th of November from 9:30-1:30 p.m. 

The workshops are highly engaging, face-to-face, practical workshops led by the best digital expert trainers in the UK and Ireland and are designed to boost your digital skills and confidence.  

The training will focus on two key areas:  

• Artificial Intelligence: This session provides a wider understanding of concepts and terms related to AI and automation. It will also focus on simple algorithms and have participants create one of their own before studying more sophisticated types of AI and the impact they will have on participants’ lives and work.
• Cyber Security: This session offers helpful tips to keep you safe online. This session will provide a understanding of vulnerabilities on the web, the importance of cyber security and how to protect yourself and/or your business.

Participants will work through allocated tasks in their groups. By attending this workshop you will also obtain Facebook certification.
