August Academic Staff Development

We are excited that the booking form for the staff development workshops on the 12th and 14th of August is now open.

The conference will be online with Forth Valley College and SERC staff joining live.

You can join interest group rooms to meet colleagues from both Colleges during the virtual coffee sessions – please select which ‘coffee rooms’ you want to join over the two mornings. This is an opportunity to learn from others both here and at FVC.

Day 1 –  Wednesday 12th August 2020

• 9:30-9:45 Introduction and welcome
• 9:45-10:15 Inter College quiz
• 10:15-10:45 Virtual coffee – select the room you wish to join for coffee
• 10:45-12:15 Strand 1- Engaging learners online Workshops – select your preferred workshop

Day 2 – Friday 14th August 2020

• 9:30 - 11:00 Strand 2 - Engaging learners online Workshops – select your preferred workshop
• 11:00-11:30 Virtual coffee – select the room you wish to join for coffee
• 11:30-12:00 Strand 3 - Wellbeing and hobbies - select your preferred workshop
• 12:00- 12:30 Virtual coffee – select the room you wish to join for coffee
• 12:30- 13:15 Mental health of students - signs and symptoms - how can I help?
