Anna Finds the Right Course for Her at SERC

Anna comments, “I came to Northern Ireland from Poland hoping to study. I was browsing so long for something to catch my eye and then I found it - the Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business in SERC.” 

She says “I started my course in September 2021 with a Project-Based Learning task, which really helped me to bond with other students as a group. The variety of learning between coursework and exams is completed through a mixture of online classes and within the college which allows me to be flexible in my part-time job, working and studying at the same time. 

“There are many things I enjoy about the course, however, my main one is the wide variety of teaching techniques which means everyone can express themselves as well as reach their full potential.  

“I’m really looking forward to year 2 of the course as there is an opportunity to fly out to Spain as part of an international placement, and if that wasn’t great enough, we get the chance to gain some confidence through work experience.” 

Anna concludes “On completion of this course, I know I will be ready for the world of work ahead of me!"
