South Eastern Regional College (SERC) students recently attended an Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) Conferring Ceremony at Titanic Belfast, for students who have successfully completed their Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians.

Amongst those at the ceremony were eight students from SERC, who were presented with their Level 5 Diploma certificates. Students who complete the Level 5 Diploma are eligible to become Members of Accounting Technicians Ireland. John D'Arcy, Director with The Open University in Ireland, joined the ceremony to offer his congratulations to all graduates.

Sandra Roleston, SERC HLA/ATI Co-ordinator, comments, “It was lovely to see eight of our Level 5 students attend this special event where they were awarded the Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians.

“All the students have worked so hard over the past two years, and this was a great way of recognising their overall success. Two of these students have now progressed further with their professional studies by undertaking their chartered exams to become fully qualified accountants.

“This shows the dedication and motivation of these students to reach even greater success with their accountancy careers. This was a great achievement for the College, and I know each student is an asset to the accounting profession.”
