AccessAble

The College has a 3-year contract with AccessAble to provide accessible information on SERC’s facilities available for visitors, staff and students which gives disabled people carers and those who just want to know a little more about accessibility and the information to decide if a place will work for them. Audits are carried out annually by surveyors to ensure changes are made in compliance with legislation and necessity for disabled persons and the website is updated when changes have been made.

AccessAble uses 32 accessibility symbols which have been designed in consultation with disabled people and represent information to help users find out at a glance to help assess whether a venue is accessible for individuals.
