"My mum and I went to visit the SERC Bangor campus to get some information about the animal management courses there. As soon as we stepped into the building, we both felt the welcoming and homely atmosphere, so I knew right away that SERC was the perfect option for me.”

“I am now in my second year of the Level 3 Animal Management course, and I would say my favourite modules so far have been the exotics unit and a project in wildlife ecology, both of which have been very interesting and enjoyable.”

“The tutors I have had during my time at SERC have been absolutely amazing. They will go out of their way to help my classmates and me, and always go the extra mile. The level of support I have received has been amazing too. Even when you are walking through the hallways, other members of staff will always say hello and are very polite which makes it a friendly environment.”

“I have benefited from the help of SERC's Learning Support department, which has enabled me to have extra time in exams. The whole process was very easy, and after a five-minute conversation with the team about how they could help, a plan was put in place for me which I have found extremely helpful. I use the library and the study room as areas to study when I need a quiet place to get some work done which has been very helpful in helping me focus. The library has a lot of good resources and lots of computers too, which are good to have on campus.”

“I definitely recommend anyone who is thinking of doing an animal management course to consider SERC. The staff for the Level 3 course itself are fantastic, and you will be in the best hands with any support that you need."
