“I am an apprentice at EDM Spanwall Facades in Carryduff. Being an apprentice suits me because I am a hands-on type of person and I only have class once a week and the other days I am out working and earning a wage. I prefer the small class sizes and I get on well with my classmates. My confidence has definitely grown, and I apply what I learn in class to my workplace daily. On completion of my course I want to gain more experience working full time in the industry.”
