“I have always wanted to work with children, and I knew that progressing on to A-Levels at my previous school wasn’t the right path for me. This course has massively improved my confidence and independence. The placements are a great opportunity to get good work experience and boost my CV which is great for UCAS applications. SERC also provided me with a support worker which has kept me focused on my studies.
