Princes Trust Development Award

Prince's Trust Development Awards can help to cover costs such as: course fees, transport or equipment like workwear and tools to help you achieve your plan to get into education, training or employment. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can recieve up to £175.

To be eligible for a Prince's Trust Development Award you must be:

  • Aged 16 to 30 and living in the UK
  • Unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week
  • Studying on an accredited course up to level 3

Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust

The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust offers grants for study at Undergraduate level – up to £3,000 per year. Grants can be used for any reasonable costs connected with study, including tuition fees, accommodation and living expenses.

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:

  • the child or spouse of a pharmacist, commercial traveller, or someone who owns or works in an independent grocery store
  • a resident of the UK
  • studying for a full-time undergraduate degree at a recognised UK College/University
  • in ‘financial need’

Uversity – Scholarship for Adult Learners

Uversity Higher Education Scholarships are intended to remove financial barriers so that adult learners can unlock their potential and realise their ambitions. The scholarships provide multi-annual financial support for recipients to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree for the first time. Preference will be given to candidates on full-time programmes.

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:

  • aged 23 years and older
  • be a citizen of an EEA member state or Switzerland AND resident in Ireland or Northern Ireland for 3 years or more
  • be returning to higher education after a break from education or have recently completed a higher education progression / preparation course
  • have applied to or have a deferred offer for a Bachelor’s programme
