SERC’s “Driving Social and Economic Change” conference takes place on 24 January 2019 in La Mon Hotel.
Leading practitioners and thinkers will share their extensive knowledge and this includes keynote addresses from Professor Sir Harry Burns, Professor of Global Public Health at Strathclyde University; Dorte Neilsen, internationally acclaimed author and founder of the Centre for Creative Thinking in Copenhagen, and Steve Orr, Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Inc dedicated to creation and support of Entrepreneurs. Thanks to funding from Connected we are able to offer a limited number of free places to staff to attend this exciting event which is already proving popular amongst academic and corporate staff. In order to ensure good representation across all departments, we are seeking expressions of interest from staff. (Please note attendance at this event will count towards your professional development within the College.)
