The 6 FE Colleges have come together to raise awareness of this date to support staff and students. 

Menopause and perimenopause symptoms can have a big impact on your life, including relationships and work. 

Your nutrition and lifestyle habits have a big impact on how you experience menopause. Some simple habit changes and additions to a balanced diet can help you have a smoother and happier transition into menopause and beyond, to access top tips, click here

Information Sessions

Pensions and menopause information session on Monday the 17th of October 2022 at 3.00 pm to 3.45 pm via MS teams

This session will be held by experts from the government backed MoneyHelper to cut through the complexity and talk about pensions and the menopause. This session will focus on:

  • On why we should consider pensions alongside menopause
  • Understanding pensions - how do they work
  • How menopause might affect your pension
  • Alternatives to early retirement
  • Who to contact

Understanding and managing the menopause information session on Tuesday the 18th of October 2022 at 9.30 am to 10.30 am via MS teams

Do you understand and know how to manage the menopause?

Whether you are in your 30’s, 40’s or 50+ years this session will cover what you need to know before, during and after menopause and will include:

  • The 4 stages of menopause
  • What to expect and the impact on the body and mind
  • Menopausal symptoms and reducing impact
  • Opportunity at the end to ask questions
