Women in Media Belfast have recently launched their Young Reporter competition, calling 16–18-year-olds to explore the theme of Women Workers. The competition is open to both individuals and groups, male or female.

The objective is for the young people to create a video/smartphone report up to three minutes long, on the theme of Women Workers. It should include at least one interview with a trade unionist – such as a trade union member, trade activist, or trade union representative. The focus will be on investigating the challenges faced by women in the modern age and the role of unions in combatting them.

There are some great prizes up for grabs such as £500, gift vouchers and unique experiences – an opportunity not to be missed. All entries must be sent to contact@wimbelfast.com by noon on Friday 18 November.
