23 November 2020
The Pearson National Teaching Awards are working with The One Show every night this week, 23 - 27 November 2020 to present a week-long celebration of teaching including surprise 2020 Gold Winner reveals and celebrity guests, to ensure an evening to remember.
SERC’s own Stefanie Campbell, Deputy Head of the Learning Academy, was named a Silver winner in the Awards earlier this year, and is in the running for Gold, so no surprises who we will be rooting for this week!
Stefanie was honoured in the Digital Innovator of the Year category for her outstanding commitment to changing the lives of the learners and staff on all SERC campuses. The Award follows on the success of the College’s BTEC Award for College of the Year announced in June.
Catch The One Show on Monday 23 November on BBC Two at 7.00pm, then BBC One at 7.00pm Tuesday 24 -Friday 27 November, to learn more about the achievements of the incredible winners. The full list of Gold Winners will be posted on Pearson National Teaching Awards website on Friday 27 November 2020 #classroomheroes
The Pearson National Teaching Awards is an annual celebration of exceptional teachers, founded in 1998 by Lord Puttnam to recognise the life-changing impact an inspirational teacher can have on the lives of the people they work with. This year marks its 22nd year of honouring award-winning teachers, teaching assistants, headteachers and lecturers across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
