World Mental Health Day takes place on the 10th October to raise awareness of mental health issues. Around 1 in 4 of us will experience mental health issues at some point in our lives and the remaining 3 will know someone experiencing a problem.
On Mental Health Day why not take a ½ hour to yourself to engage in Wellbeing Activities which your colleagues have created:

Autumn Wellness program
Autumn Wellness Campaign session available for “Managing Mental Health During Covid-19” on Wednesday 14th October 2020 at 1.00 pm for approx. 45 mins. To register click here and if you wish to access at a later date you must register as normal for the event prior to the Live date.
Wellbeing Sessions
To celebrate World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10th October 2020 Inspire Wellbeing will be staging an exciting one-day programme of events on Facebook – 'The Wellbeing Sessions will be Live' – promoting wellbeing and the various forms that positive mental health can take. From morning yoga and live music to advice, discussions and insights, there's something for everyone.
They want to raise awareness and contribute to ensuring that people dealing with mental ill health receive the support they need, while living full and dignified lives.
Each event will centre on one of the 'Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing' themes:
Be active, Connect, Give, Keep learning, Take notice

SERC’s Mental Health First Aiders
If you are experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress the Colleges Mental Health First Aiders are able to give you initial support and signpost you the appropriate help if required and it is all in confidence.
