Supporting Excellence at SERC

Greenview, Decathlon, and Newry Mourne and Down District Council have come on board as respective headline sponsors for the three events.

The sponsors for the Individual categories of awards are as follows: 

• Ards and North Down Borough Council - 'Trainee of the Year' and 'Entrepreneur of the Year' at the SERC Bangor and Newtownards event
• Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council - 'Entrepreneur of the Year' at the SERC Lisburn event
• Newry, Mourne and Down District Council - 'Apprentice of the Year' at the SERC Downpatrick event
• Refresh NI - 'Apprenticeship of the Year' at the SERC Bangor, Lisburn, and Newtownards events
• Greenview - 'Excellence in Project Work' at the SERC Lisburn event
• Decathlon - 'Eco Committee Member of the Year' at the SERC Bangor event

These events recognise and reward our outstanding students and celebrate the best in our college community. For the first time the events this year include awards for staff. They are a great way to highlight the commitment, efforts and achievements of people who learn or work at SERC and to thank the organisations and individuals who have supported SERC over the past year.

These will be the first on-campus celebrations since 2019 so they will be very special events.

The ceremonies will take place at: 

• Lisburn Campus – sponsored by Greenview – Tuesday 29 March
• Bangor Campus (including awards for Ards Campus)- sponsored by Decathlon – Wednesday 30 March
• Downpatrick Campus – sponsored by Newry Mourne and Down District Council - Thursday 31 March
