A British Council’s repetitive will be in Lisburn campus on Tuesday 14th January 2020 in Room 1C13 to deliver a talk on Study USA.

A British Council’s representative will be in Lisburn campus on Tuesday 14th January 2020 in Room 1C13 at 11:00am to deliver a talk on Study USA.

Applications for Study USA 2020- 2021 are now open – Deadline: 20th January 2020.

Study USA Programme:

Spend a full academic year at an American college or university studying business or business at STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Maths). 

From Washington to Wisconsin, Nebraska to New Jersey. Opportunities are spread through many states - giving students the chance to experience the huge cultural and geographical diversity of the US. British Council works in partnership with over 140 institutions across the United States of America.              

Eligibility:  

  • Students must be in full time higher education
  • Students from other institutions must be in the pre-final year of an undergraduate degree course of study or in first year of a higher education course (HND or Foundation Degree) at a University or College in Northern Ireland.
  • Applicants must be EU Nationals. 
  • Participation in the programme is conditional on satisfying your university / college's requirements for participation.  An examination failure may invalidate your application.  
  • Students who have previously participated in a higher education student mobility programme lasting 4 weeks or longer, funded by a Northern Ireland Government Department, are not eligible to apply for the Study USA programme (e.g. Erasmus, IAESTE, Language Assistants, Washington Ireland Program).
