Students Set to Shine at PBL Summer Showcase

SERC are readying to exhibit and celebrate the excellent work students at the college have carried out with their Project Based Learning (PBL) assignments and their student companies with a Summer Showcase.
The Summer Showcase is an exciting opportunity to shine a light on the hard work and dedication shown by students and staff in creating enterprising, entrepreneurial, and innovative products and services as part of their PBL and transversal skills development this academic year.
There are two core elements to the showcase, both focusing on semester 2 PBL projects, or semester 1 projects which have significantly developed throughout the year. The online catalogue is an opportunity to showcase outstanding PBL projects, and the live expo event enables a public showing as well as networking opportunities with external partners.
Students from all academic areas with be showcasing their PBL projects to external judges and the EEE team to determine who are our Transversal Skills award winners. The criteria for the awards is based around the student’s growth and journey this academic year, as well as development of transversal skills through their projects.
The events will take place on the following dates and campuses:
- 10th May- Bangor
- 11th May- Lisburn
- 12th May- Downpatrick
