Student Spotlight

Here at SERC we are keen to promote our students internally to allow students the opportunity to get to know each other and put a face to the name, particularly due to the size and scope of SERC.  With this in mind, “Meet your Students” is a fun Q and A exercise and allows you to get to know more about your fellow students.

Name: Mollie Richardson

Course: Year 1 Level 3 Media

1. What does your course at SERC cover?

Video and audio production, Graphic Design, Photography, Scriptwriting and other aspects of Media.

2. What 3 words best describe you?

Determined, awkward and talkative

3. What do you like to do in your free time?

Read, write (stories, poetry, lyrics, screenplays etc.), listen to music, stay active (horse riding, hula hooping, yoga, walking, running), cook and learn.

4. If you could have anyone’s job for a day who would it be and why?

Holly Willoughby because I wish I had the confidence and ability to talk on TV, because that seems really fun to me. Plus, we share the same birthday!

5. List 3 items you would want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island?

A notepad, a pen and my glasses

6. What is your favourite film and why?

Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper because it reminds me of everything I loved about my childhood.

7. Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?

Venice, Italy

8. What is your top tip for keeping healthy (either physically or mentally)  during the lockdown?

Set out a to-do list every day and stick to it. Write things like “exercise” and set out any assignment tasks you need to do for class or work etc. It keeps you feeling on-track and productive!
