The two students are studying Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Applied Science, Taneesha at SERC’s Lisburn Campus, and Cassie at Bangor Campus. Karen Orme, Deputy Head of Applied Sciences at SERC said, “The students’ projects are very topical and should be of interest to everyone. Being selected to exhibit is testament to the tremendous amount of work which goes into these projects and the importance of science to everyday life."

She added, “We are delighted they have been selected from amongst hundreds of projects from across the island of Ireland and the fact that they will be representing not only SERC but flying the flag for further education.”
