It can be difficult to juggle your finances when you are a student, but thankfully, there is support and guidance available.

Student Finance is assistance in the form of money towards some of the costs including course tuition fees; living/maintenance costs; book/kit/equipment costs; home to college travel costs; and childcare costs.   There are specific grants, funds and support depending on whether you are studying a further or higher education course, are studying part time, or if you have children.

Our Student Finance team are here to help and can offer guidance by talking you through the various options for support, seeking out how we can help source funding, and helping you complete any necessary forms. Some of the funding options must be applied for BEFORE you start your course.   So take time to have a look at our Quick Guides for the different areas of support on our website (links below), and if you need help or have any questions contact our Student Finance team at studentfinance@serc.ac.uk or call 0345 600 7555 (option 3 for Finance/Funding and then option 1 for Student Finance).
