Sophie Leith Francis Elected as New Student Governor

SERC’s Students’ Union have today announced Sophie Leith Francis has won the vote to become the SERC Student Governor. Serving for one year, the role will commence in the next academic term and will see Sophie form part of the Governing Body and senior decision-making body of SERC.

Sophie is currently studying Early Years at the Newtownards Campus.  Some of her plans in her new role as Student Governor include creating more green spaces and social settings within the college campuses and raising awareness for men’s mental health along with many more exciting ideas for the future.
