The South Eastern Regional College (SERC) Students’ Union annual freshers' fair took place recently with hundreds of students - both new and returning  - getting involved, chatting to exhibitors, and learning more about local businesses, organisations, services and charities.

Ross Currie, Student Engagement Officer at SERC, said; “Freshers' is one of the biggest events on the SU calendar, so it was great to see so many students turn out and avail of what was on offer such as the opportunity to meet new people, get lots of free items and access exclusive SERC student discounts. This year we hosted more than 20 exhibitors on our Bangor campus, including Pure Gym, Dominoes, Four Star Pizza, volunteering agencies and student finance.  Ross added, “The Student’s Union is committed to supporting our students, and this event has helped us to connect  with our student community by raising awareness of services and opportunities to support their health, wellbeing, skills, and confidence. We would like to extend our thanks to all our exhibitors and community partners who attended and made the event such a success.”
