The Northern Ireland Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) conferring ceremony took place on Tuesday 21st March in the Titanic Hotel in Belfast. The ceremony also marked a milestone for ATI as they celebrated the 40th anniversary of the event.

Seven SERC Level 5 ATI students attended and were awarded their level 5 diploma for Accounting Technicians, which was a great way to recognise their hard work and celebrate their success.

Lecturer Sandra Roleston said “I was delighted to be a part of their journey at SERC and it was great to see their success acknowledged at the conferring ceremony. This was a great achievement for the College, and I know each student is an asset to the accounting profession.

“Five of these students have now progressed in their professional studies by undertaking to complete their chartered exams in order to become a fully- qualified accountant. This shows the dedication and motivation of these students to pursue further with their accountancy career.”
