Students from Level 2 Professional Bakery at Bangor campus participated in the ‘World’s biggest Coffee morning’ on 30 September, in aid of the Macmillan charity and those living with life-changing cancer diagnoses.

The talented group were delighted to greet staff, students and the general public who called by to show their support and enjoy some freshly baked goods straight from the kitchen. In total, the students raised a fantastic £250 through the generosity of many donations.

Paul Monaghan, Hospitality and Catering manager commented: “The bakery students put a superb effort into the event by producing all the baked goods and meeting the general public. They thoroughly enjoyed hosting their first event of the year and raising money for Macmillan which means a lot to some of the students. They did a fantastic job by raising an incredible £250 for the charity which will make such a difference to those affected by cancer.”

Well done to everyone involved.
