The Markets bring together staff and students from various courses to sell many tricks and treats. Stalls at this year’s Halloween Markets will sell items including candles, room sprays, art, stickers, photo prints, crochet items, keychains, ceramics, upcycled crafts and cloths, textiles, hair braiding, and more.

Megan Rollins, SERC Senior Innovation Advisor, commented, “We had a great turnout at last year’s Halloween Markets, and we are hoping for the same this year. The Halloween Markets give staff and students real life experience in creating products, working out costings and pricing, marketing their business and dealing with customers face to face. There is also the bonus of bringing entrepreneurs and like-minded people together in one space, which allows for great networking and collaboration opportunities between sellers. The markets are a great way for students to develop key transversal skills which will help them prepare for the world of work or self-employment.”.
