Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing some of our many student success stories on our website and on social media. These stories highlight the journey of some of the students who choose SERC. Whilst some have progressed to the college straight from school, others may have started on one path, but found something more suited to their learning style or interest here at SERC, and yet others may have taken a different route from that expected – they got to where they wanted to be, whether that was a higher level course, university or employment. Some may have chosen SERC to support a return to education after decades; it’s important to remember there are many routes to where you want to be and there is always an alternative path.
You can also tune in to Bangor FM, Lisburn's 98FM and FM105 Down Community Radio to hear students from a range of courses talk about their SERC experience and also catch some of the SERC team talk about different aspects of the support and opportunities available to every student, from SERC Students' Union, to Pastoral Care, to the Student Carer team and of course our Careers Team who will be on hand for consultation on a first come first served basis on results and enrolment days.
Don't forget - there is still time to apply for courses commencing September 2022.
