Opportunities for Employers and Employees in the Construction Industry

DfE will be advertising an open competition to recruit ten new members to the Board of the Construction Industry Training Board Northern Ireland on 11 February 2022 in the three main local papers. There are five employer and five employee member posts. It is planned to make the appointments by 1 July 2022 for an initial three year term.
The posts currently attract remuneration of £77.50 for under 4 hours per day and £155.00 for over 4 hours per day which is under review. The estimated total time commitment is approximately 15 days per year.
The process involves an application form, eligibility sift and interview process. Appointments are made on merit and applications are welcome from all sections of society.
Applications from women, young people, people with a disability and those from ethnic minority communities would be particularly welcome.
