SERC is very pleased to welcome seven new members to our governing body.

The new appointments, which run for four years, have been announced by Economy Minister Diane Dodds, who also confirmed that the tenure of two existing members of the governing body will be extended.

The governing body of SERC is responsible for securing the efficient and effective management of the college, the provision of suitable further education to its students and determining the college’s strategic direction.

The new members are: Mark Huddleston; Dr Danny McConnell; Alan McCrum; Deborah O’Hare; Darren Stewart; and Derek Wilson, who were appointed from 10 December 2020, and Majella Corrigan, whose appointment starts from 1 April 2021.

The tenure of Neil Bodger and Heather Reid will be extended until 31 March 2021.
