National Eye Health Week takes place from 23 to 29 September 2024 with the aim of promoting the importance of good eye health and the need for a regular eye test. 

A sight test is recommended every 2 years as it can detect early signs of conditions like glaucoma, which can be treated if found soon enough, or other health conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
