Mind Yourself: Men’s Health Week

International Men’s Health week is the 13-19 June 2022 and this year’s theme is 'MISSION is POSSIBLE' and the call to men is: 'The Action Starts with You'.
With this year’s theme, everyone is encouraged to make new choices and to realise that where there is a will, there is a way and to gain the courage to do something about it.
During the week there will be daily themes and information, and support will be available on each theme on the staff intranet and the Mind yourself App (to access please click here)
- Monday 13 June 2022 – Mental Fitness
- Tuesday 14 June 2022 - Prevention is better than cure
- Wednesday 15 June 2022 – Food for thought
- Thursday 16 June 2022 – Rethinking what your drinking
- Friday 17 June 2022 – Trash the ash
Today’s theme for Men’s Health Week is Mental fitness and building a solid foundation for all-round health.

Inspire Wellbeing will be holding a Men’s Mental Health and Wellbeing session on today from 10.30 am to 12 noon via MS Teams
- Understanding the significance of having the best life balance for yourself
- The importance of responding appropriately to those things that you have no control over
- How best to look after your health, mind, and your attitude
- The range of personal and practical support available
- The actions you now can now take for yourself
