Action Mental Health will be delivering a virtual session on Managing Stress and Building resilience through uncertain times on Friday 25th September 2020 at 2.00 pm to 2.40 pm. This session will provide you with top-tips on becoming aware of your stress levels, reducing the stressors at this time and direct you to further support should you need it. The session will last around 40 minutes and is split into two parts.
Part one looks at:
- Introducing stress, what it is and how best to understanding the difference between healthy pressure and stress.
- The effect that COVID-19 is having on mental health across the UK, this will help us build a picture as to how in demand stress manage is at this time.
- Top tips on getting the most out of working from home and returning to work during this time and looking after yourself.
Part Two looks at:
- Strategies for managing stress, we’ll look at the traffic light system, which is an easy practical tool which you can use to monitor your stress.
- Top tips on how to get the five ways to wellbeing despite many social restrictions.
- Sources of support and 10 minute Q&A.
