Last Chance For SU Officer Nominations

Nominations for Students’ Union Officers are now open and close on October 3rd. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the Students’ Union on your campus.   

The SU has several Officer roles available on each campus, including: 

1. Campus President
2. Activities Officer 
3. Welfare Officer 
4. Eco/Environmental Officer
5. Equality & Diversity Officer 
6. Higher Education Officer 
7. LGBTQ+ Officer 
8. Trans Officer
9. Women’s Officer  
10. Disability Officer   
11. Black & Ethnic Minorities Officer (BAEM)   

Each campus will elect an individual for each role. The successful candidates will form the Students’ Union Leadership Team.  

Responsibilities of SU Officer include:

• Undertaking of training to prepare for the role     
• Attendance at SU meetings      
• Working closely with the Student Engagement Team
• Attendance at all internal and external events including leading delegations to NUS USI conferences
• Driving the planning and development of student-led clubs and societies, campaigns, events etc
