Intercampus Engineering Welding and Fabrication Competition

Over 50 apprentices and trainees specialising in fabrication, welding, milling and turning from across South Eastern Regional College, celebrated wins at the Intercampus Engineering Competition at Lisburn Campus recently.
In Welding, first place went to Paul Kelly, second place to Jack Patterson and Joel McGrath took third place. All the apprentices are based at SERC’s Professional Skills Centre at Dundrod.
In Fabrication, first place went to James Campbell from Lisburn Campus; second place to Alfie Robinson (pictured above with Lecturer Garth Corr) from Downpatrick Campus. Alfie is employed by Cyril Johnston Showroom (Carryduff); and third place went to Robert Marx, from Lisburn Campus.
In Milling & Turning, Scott Keenan lifted the title for first place and Reuben Allen took second place. Both apprentices are from Bangor Campus.
