IFA Level 1 Coaching Badge now available at SERC

SERC Sport are now offering a Level 1 Coaching Badge in partnership with the Irish Football Association from the 1st-3rd of May at the Lisburn Campus.

This three day course is an excellent opportunity for those looking to progress within the football/sporting industry, as well as those that enjoy taking part in voluntary work.

With this course you will obtain:

• A safeguarding child certificate
• A first aid certificate
• A nutrition certificate
• Knowledge of the sport which can be used across multiple sporting fields
• A variety of resources to help progress your coaching

This course is open to all students (in further education colleges or secondary education) aged 16 and above.

This course would typically cost £220. However, as this course is being offer through SERC, participants will receive a 50% discount! If you reside in the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area, you may be eligible to have a portion of the cost reimbursed through LCCC Sport funding also (forms for this can be collected when enrolling on course).
