Gardening Tips and Advice Week 10

Throughout lockdown it's important to get outdoors, and keep the mind occupied, a great way to combine the two is by doing some gardening.

This week Horticulture lecturer Joanna Loane has provided us with some helpful advice on Box Hedge Propagation.

It is a great time of year to start taking more cuttings of plants in the garden, particularly if we would like a large number of one plant, to use as hedging for example. This video demonstrates how to take cuttings of Box, which will be used as hedging in a new garden area at SERC.
