Enterprise Fortnight and Showcases

This year’s Enterprise Showcase will happen over one day in each campus and as part of the celebration of your students innovative, creative, enterprising and entrepreneurial ideas we are inviting external judges to work with our internal judging panel at the event.  

The enterprise and entrepreneurship team will be present on each campus throughout the first week and will visit classrooms and teams to offer support and talk to your students as they work on their projects.

A workshop hosted by Facebook Digital skills offering support on creating innovative ideas in teams and developing apps to support your innovative idea will be hosted in Lisburn 4th , Bangor 5th and Downpatrick on the 6th September, all starting at 9.15 and finishing at 1.  These workshops are to support staff and are bookable on the events page on the home site https://serc2.sharepoint.com/Staff/Pages/default.aspx

At the expo a scoring rubric will be used to grade all individuals and teams and a new sticker system will be introduced to identify concepts that are particularly  innovative, entrepreneurial and eco-friendly. Most importantly, all students will get the opportunity to discuss their challenge and solution and get feedback.

It is paramount that you make arrangements for your cohort to attend the showcase in your campus.

• Bangor: 12th September
• Lisburn:13th September

Enterprise Final:  Bangor 18th September at 2PM.

The time for each cohort and a copy of the judges scoring rubric will be emailed to staff this week.
