South Eastern Regional College (SERC) was delighted to recently host its annual Christmas markets across the college’s Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards campuses.
The Christmas markets welcomed members of the public, as well as staff and students, who came together to deck the halls and spread some festive cheer.
Visitors were spoilt for choice with the exciting range of products on offer, including Christmas crafts and decorations, soaps, scents, wreaths, pin badges, handmade jewellery, sweets, chocolate, baked goods, leather work, metal crafts, ceramics, books, candles, and paintings, all produced by our talented enterprise companies, staff and students.
Megan Rollins, Senior Innovation Advisor commented, “The Christmas markets are just one way we encourage enterprise and entrepreneurship at SERC, by giving people the opportunity to sell their goods and services to students, staff and the public. It is a great opportunity for students to build enterprising mindsets, to develop entrepreneurial and transversal skills, as well as to engage with customers and other business owners, all whilst having fun! It was amazing to see the display of talent, creativity and skill at the market stalls. A big thank you to all that contributed and attended.”
