Everyone is welcome to SERC this December as enterprising students and staff get into the festive spirit hosting stands at the Colleges annual Christmas Fairs.

The Lisburn Christmas Fair will run from 11:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday December 11.

Deputy Head of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Lizzie Buick said, “Visitors will be delighted to find a range of unusual gifts including crafts, jewellery and furniture, as well as beauty treatments and the opportunity to indulge in treats such as hot chocolate and seasonal bakes. It’s worth coming along to soak up the festive vibes and atmosphere whilst browsing for something different.

She added, “We host fairs throughout the academic year to give our students the chance to gain experience in creating, producing and selling their own products to fellow students, staff and members of the public. It is a great opportunity for students to develop their enterprise skills which form part of our project-based learning here at SERC.”

Visitors are encouraged to wear their Christmas Jumper and make a £1 donation for a chance to win some great prizes as part of the Colleges Christmas Jumper Day at each fair and to buy tickets for our Christmas raffle. All proceeds raised during the week will go towards SERC’s Upskilling Uganda project which aims to support the building and operation of a Vocational Training Institute in Uganda. Fairs in
