Careers Service- Careers in Focus

Ever heard anyone complain about the lack of opportunities in Northern Ireland? More often than not this comes down to a lack of information, not opportunity. This may only be a wee place but there is plenty going on and if you are job hunting it is important to know your patch. We’d like to introduce you to 2 new resources being provided by the Department of the Economy that will help you do just that.

First up is the Monthly Online Job Posting Factsheets – these include insights by also a list of hyperlinked featured jobs that can make your job hunt that bit easier.

Secondly The DfE Careers Occupational Information Unit have started to publish E-zines on specific occupational sectors. This includes up-to-date data presented in a visual style so that you can navigate your way through these sectors. There is information about the sector, links to videos and recruitment sites and lists of courses across a range of levels for those interested in training and qualifications in the area. Current issues include Data Analytics and Software Technology and they are attached as pdfs to this bulletin.
