Breast Cancer Awareness Month

02 October 2018

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and both women and men can take it. Breast cancer is the name given to cancers that have first developed in breast tissue.

In men, breast cancer is very rare. There are about 350 men diagnosed each year in the UK, compared with around 50,000 cases of breast cancer in women. Much of the information that men with breast cancer need is the same as for women. The symptoms, diagnosis and treatment are all very similar to women with breast cancer.
