Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

Bowel Cancer UK gives a short 4-minute recording about bowel cancel. To find out more click here. They also offer a forum where anyone affected by bowel cancer can ask questions, share their experiences and support each other. Further information can be found here.

Bowel cancer screening is offered to people aged 60 to 74. Bowel screening can help detect cancer at an early stage when treatment is more effective. Screening can also check for and remove polyps which can go on to develop into cancer over time.

Bowel Cancer UK are hosting 30-minute talks in April online via zoom with their dedicated trained volunteers, many of whom have a personal connection to bowel cancer. To register for a session via Eventbrite click here.
